| Sunday, August 24th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the company attended Bethel Township’s annual Corn Boil event sponsored by the Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board, along with the Bethel Township Board of Supervisors. The corn boil is a Bethel Township annual summer tradition dating back to the 1960’s where the event was held at the Luhman Farm located on Zebley Road. In the early days, the corn boil was hosted by local Boy Scouts, and residents would pick the corn from their own fields. As the years have gone by and the community has grown, the corn boil has been moved to the Bethel Springs Elementary School grounds.
Open to Bethel Township residents, the corn boil includes hot dogs, beverages, corn on the cob, and ice cream. Face painting, moon bounce, sack races and other games were available for kids to enjoy. Thank you to both the Bethel Township Parks and Recreation Board and the Bethel Township Board of Supervisors for the invite. Special thanks to all of the event sponsors. |
