Carnival Returns Tuesday April 13th thru Saturday April 17th

The Bethel Fire Company will be holding its annual Carnival starting Tuesday night April 13th thru Saturday night April 17th from 6pm – 10pm each evening on the grounds of the old Francis Harvey Green School 3220 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. Come enjoy rides, food and games. Proceeds benefit our all-volunteer fire department.
Ride all night wristbands can be purchased each evening for $25 at the ticket booths. Pre-Order your wristbands for $5 dollars off per wristband. Ride all night for $20 per person. All pre-orders must be purchased before April 12th.

Building Fire in Bethel Township
Firefighter Matt Hills Jr., March 14
Sunday evening March 14th just before 5pm the company and mutual aid departments were dispatched to the Foxfield Villas Building 2000 for a building fire reported to be an odor of burning wires inside the building. Truck and Squad 66 both made the response. Truck 66 arrived and secured their own supply line. Squad 10 arrived as the second due engine and was prepared to charge Truck 66’s supply line if needed. Squad 66 arrived and took the hydrant at the 1000 building.
Crews confirmed an electrical burning odor with levels of carbon monoxide detected throughout the building. An issue was identified with an underground power line feeding the building and PECO was notified. The residents ... (Full Story & Photos)

Commerical Building Fire Assists to Talleyville (NCC 25)

Saturday evening March 13th just after 6pm, the company was dispatched to assist Talleyville on a commercial building fire located at the Starbucks on Concord Pike. Squad 66 and Truck 66 both made the response. Squad 66 arrived as the second due engine. An ice machine issue was quickly placed under control and the assignment was reduced.
Shortly after 8pm as the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Talleyville on a commercial building fire reported to be an exterior overhang ceiling light on fire at the Giant Food Store on Concord Pike. Squad Runs Natural Gas Leak in Talleyville (NCC 25) Local

Saturday morning March 13th around 09:15am the company was dispatched to assist Talleyville (NCC 25) on a natural gas leak inside a residence on the 1000 block of Crestover Road in the Graylyn Crest development. Squad 66 with a crew of 5 arriving as the second due engine secured Squad 10’s (covering Talleyville) water supply.
