Engine & Truck Assist Claymont (NCC 13)

BFC, January 08

Saturday evening January 8th, the company was dispatched to assist Claymont (NCC 13) with a house fire reported to be a chimney located on the 2200 block of Inwood Road. Engine arrived as the first due engine and Truck 66 as the first due special service. Arriving units had a fire contained to chimney, extinguished the same and the incident was quickly placed under control. Our units were available within 30 minutes.... (Full Story & Photos)

No Caption Mutual Aid Assist to Talleyville (NCC 25)

BFC, January 08

Saturday afternoon January 8th just after 2pm the Engine, Truck and Squad all responded to the Brookstone Development in the Talleyville (NCC 25) local for a building fire with reported subjects trapped. Chief 25 arrived with smoke showing. Engine 66 arrived as the second due engine with the engine’s crew assigned to search the residence with negative results. Truck 66 arrived as the third due special service and with Squad 66’s crew assumed Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) responsibilities. Our crews were committed for 90 minutes. No Caption Santa Letter Drop-Off

BFC, November 26

Bethel Township Hose Co. No.1 announces our third annual Santa letter drop off. Stop by the station November 15th through December 17th. A big red Santa mailbox will be placed in front of the station to help you and your child(ren) get their letter special delivered to Santa and receive a personalized reply.

Parents it is very important to write your child’s name and address on the outside of the envelope so that our firefighters can assist Santa in receiving and returning a special letter to them.

Engine Runs Mutual Aid to Upper Chichester & Claymont

BFC , November 25

Thanksgiving Day around 2:15pm the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Upper Chichester (10) with a house fire located on the 300 block of Hanby Circle in Upper Chichester Township. Engine 66 made the response. Upper Chichester units arrived with fire on the side of the residence and reduced the assignment to units on scene.

After clearing the Upper Chichester call Engine 66 responded to the 900 block of Aldon Road in the Claymont (NCC 13) local for a house fire. Engine 66 arriving as the third due engine dropped 850 feet of 5-inch supply hose to secure a secondary water supply. Engine 66 was committed for 90 minutes. A couple of the photos are courtesy ...
