Engine Assists Claymont (NCC 13)

BFC, September 06

Monday morning September 5th just after 4am, the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Claymont (NCC 13) on a multi-residential structure fire. Engine 66 arrived behind Tower 13 & assumed the first due engine assignment dropping 350 feet of 5-inch supply line & pulled a 300 foot 1 3/4 hose line to the first floor. A crew from Talleyville (NCC 25) pulled the 200 foot 1 3/4 hose line from Engine 66 & placed in service on the second floor. Foxfield Community Tour

BFC, August 16

Tuesday August 16th’s training entailed a tour of the Fox Field at Naamans Creek community. Built in 2004, Fox Field at Naamans Creek is a 55+ community located off of Naamans Creek Road in Bethel Township. The Fox Field community consists of 233 single homes, 155 carriage homes & 126 villas (condominium units). Engine Assists Concordville (59)

BFC, June 28

Monday evening June 27th just before 9pm the company was dispatched as part of a second alarm assignment to assist Concordville (59) on a house fire. Engine 66 made the response. Engine 66’s crew was committed for 3 hours assisting with fire suppression & overhaul. A crew was in station during this time to respond to any additional emergencies. ... (Full Story & Photos)
