BFC, February 22

We recently mailed out our 2024 annual fund drive. For almost 80 years, the Bethel Township Hose Co. No.1 has provided emergency services to the residents of Bethel Township. Our department is 100% volunteer. Donations we receive are critical to supporting our ability to serve our community and this year is no exception. We rely on fund drive donations to assist with covering day-to-day expenses including apparatus fuel, apparatus maintenance, utilities, equipment maintenance, insurance, and building maintenance. When available we apply for applicable state and federal grant funding opportunities. In addition to full-time jobs and families, our members respond to over 400 calls per year, participate ... No Caption Engine Assists Talleyville (NCC 25) on Commercial Building Fire

BFC, January 18

Thursday morning, January 18th just before 09:30 am the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Talleyville (NCC 25) on a commercial building fire at the McDonald’s restaurant located on Concord Pike. Squad 25 arrived with smoke showing. Engine 66 made the response, arrived as the fourth due engine and dropped 550 feet of 5-inch supply line completing Squrt 16’s (Elsmere) lay.
