Just before 2 a.m. this morning, the department was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist the Lower Chichester Fire Department on a residential structure fire. Engine 39 arrived with an active kitchen fire. Truck 66 made the response and, upon arrival, was assigned as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) and staged on the alpha side (front or address side of the building) until being released by command.
