Thanksgiving Day around 2:15pm the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Upper Chichester (10) with a house fire located on the 300 block of Hanby Circle in Upper Chichester Township. Engine 66 made the response. Upper Chichester units arrived with fire on the side of the residence and reduced the assignment to units on scene.
After clearing the Upper Chichester call Engine 66 responded to the 900 block of Aldon Road in the Claymont (NCC 13) local for a house fire. Engine 66 arriving as the third due engine dropped 850 feet of 5-inch supply hose to secure a secondary water supply. Engine 66 was committed for 90 minutes.
