Sunday March 1st 11 members participated in a 4 hour basic forcible entry training class held at the Prospect Park Fire Co. (08). Prospect Park Fire Co. has a forcible entry door system which allows firefighters the ability to simulate spiking wood jambs, left hand/right hand openings and gapping both inward and outward doors. Prospect Park Fire Commissioner Mike Signora and Deputy Chief Kurt Rossney conducted the class. The class is very informative and well instructed. Thank you to Prospect Park Fire Co. for conducting this valuable training class. We hope to come up again later in the year for the advanced class.
