House Fire in Foxfield

This morning shortly after 10am the company along with Ogden (55), Boothwyn (40), Reliance (61), Claymont (NCC 13), Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) and the Aston Township (17) Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hance Lane in the Foxfield development in Bethel Township for a house fire reported to be a vehicle fire inside an attached garage.

Truck 66, Engine 66-3 and 66-8 made the response with 13 members. Truck 66 arrived on scene with a 2 story single family dwelling well involved, secured their own supply line and placed a 2 ½ hose line and a 1 ¾ hose line in service. Engine 66-3 arrived and secured a secondary water supply and placed two additional 1 ¾ hose lines in service. The residents safely evacuated the residence prior to the arrival of responding units and no injuries occurred. Units worked on scene for over 3 hours under the command of Chief Mike Heacock.
