| The officers and members regret to announce the sudden passing of our Assistant Chief Ron "Corky" Windsor Jr. on Sunday evening December 27th. Ron was a 19 year member of the fire company and a past member of the Claymont Fire Company. In addition to currently serving the company as Assistant Chief Ron previously held the positions of Safety Officer, Board of Director and Engineer. Ron endeared himself to our organization thru his good nature and dedication. Our company has lost not just an officer and member but a good friend.
Ron is survived by his father Ron Windsor Sr., mother Vivian L. Windsor, brother Michael Windsor, sister JoAnn (Steve) Abbott, grandmother Anna Marie Wingate, nieces Ashley, Brittany, Kimmy and Chrissy. Ron is also survived by his good friends Dave, Debbie and Samantha Macleary.
We thank the Claymont Fire Company for all of their efforts and care when Ron fell ill.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Viewing: Sunday evening January 3rd from 1800hrs until 2000hrs and Monday morning January 4th from 0900hrs until 1000hrs at the Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Road Garnet Valley, PA
Service: Monday morning 1000hrs at the funeral home
Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery 1000 West Ridge Road Lower Chichester, PA
