Saturday morning just before 11am, the company was dispatched to the 1100 block of Naamans Creek Road for an automatic fire alarm. Truck and Squad 66 both made the response. While responding units were advised of a second call (assist EMS) in Bethel Township. Truck 66 continued to the automatic fire alarm call while Squad 66 handled the assist EMS call. Later around 5pm in the evening, the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Concordviille (59) with a commercial building fire reported to be in the kitchen located on the 1200 block of Wilmington West Chester Pike in Concord Township. Engine 59-2 arrived with nothing evident and held the assignment to Engine 59-2.

Early Sunday afternoon members spent a couple hours readying the apparatus for the Concord and Bethel Township Memorial Day parades. 7:30pm in the evening the company along with Ambulance 140 (Upper Chichester) and Medic 66 (Crozer EMS) were dispatched to the intersection of Pinecrest Road and Zebley Road for a motor vehicle accident. Squad and Utility 66 both made the response. No fire department services were needed and the company was available within 30 minutes.

Today the company participated in the annual Concord and Bethel Township Memorial Day Parades. The Concord parade began at 0930hrs at the Springwater Plaza located off Route 202 and ended at the Elam Methodist Church located on Smithbridge Road. The Bethel Township Parade began at 1115hrs at the Briggs Auction on Naamans Creek Road and ended at the Siloam Methodist Church on Foulk Road. Memorial Day services followed both parades. Participants included the Brandywine American Legion Post 811, Bethel Fire Co., Concordville Fire Co., Bethel Township Police Department, Garnet Valley High School Choir and local Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Brownie Troop chapters. We remember all of our armed forces members who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our country and freedoms.
