Tuesday evening June 29th the Foxfield Development community invited the company along with the Bethel Township Police Department and Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) to their association meeting to discuss public safety.

Engine 66-3 with a crew of five made the trip down to the Foxfield Development. Assistant Chief and Bethel Township Fire Marshal Brett Small discussed fire prevention and fire safety including fire extinguishers (different types, how to use, etc.). Fire prevention handouts were made available to the residents. Bethel Township Police Corporal Chris Kimball explained the 911 system, how police officers receive calls and the services the Bethel Township Police Department provides. Medic 66-7 Paramedic Dave Smiley discussed emergency medical services (EMS) including having updated living wills and an index card available listing allergies, medications, medical history and primary physician's name in the event of a medical emergency.

Assistant Chief Small, Corporal Kimball and Paramedic Smiley conducted a question and answer session with the residents. Finishing out the evening residents looked over Engine 66-3 and were shown the different types of fire extinguishers.

Thank you to the Foxfield Development for the invitation and to the Bethel Township Police Department and Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) for participating.
