Bethel Township Hose Company No.1 would like to thank Bethel Township for adopting Ordinance 244, establishing a Volunteer Service Tax Credit Program under Pennsylvania’s Act 172.

This program provides eligible volunteer firefighters with a 100% Township real estate tax credit when annual service requirements are met. The ordinance recognizes the time, dedication, and commitment required to serve the residents and businesses of Bethel Township.

This initiative supports both current members and those considering volunteering by helping strengthen emergency services within our community. Opportunities to serve are not limited to firefighting — administrative, fundraising, and support roles are also available.
