While covering Upland Squad 66 was dispatched to the McDonald's on Edgemont Avenue in Brookhaven Borough for a building fire. Arriving units had a grill fire with a smoke condition in the building. Squad 66 stood by the hydrant on Edgemont Avenue. The McDonald's assignment was reduced to Brookhaven's covers & Squad 66 was redirected to the fire scene & stood by for an hour before being released & returning to Bethel Township.
