Bethel's Volunteers Keep Busy During Severe Weather

Last evening as a severe thunderstorm hit the area the company responded to 7 calls. 3 were mutual aid water rescue assist calls to Concordville (59), 1 mutual aid vehicle fire assist to Talleyville (NCC 25), 2 water rescue calls in Bethel Township and 1 carbon monoxide alarm call in Bethel Township. Bethel’s volunteers were in service for over 4 hours before returning to station to restore equipment. Earlier in the day, the company also assisted Concordville (59) on a working garage fire.
