Monday evening May 25th Engine 66 responded to assist Claymont (NCC 13) with a building fire located in the 700 block of East Birchtree Lane. Claymont units arrived with an active basement fire. Engine 66 arriving as the third due engine dropped 500 feet of 5-inch supply line to establish a secondary water supply and established the initial RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) before being released by Claymont Command.
