Wednesday July 19th around 12:40pm the company along with Boothwyn (40), Ogden (55), Reliance (61), Talleyville (NCC 25), Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) and the Lower Chichester (39) Rapid Intervention Team were dispatched to the Foxfield Villas 2000 Poplar Street in Bethel Township for a building fire reported to be smoke in the basement level.

Truck 66 arrived and took the rear of the building with Engine 39 establishing a water supply. Smoke condition was encountered in the building and crews located a basement fire progressing up to the first floor. A second alarm was requested bringing additional units due to multi-occupancy building, available manpower and weather conditions. The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes under the command of Deputy Chief Jeff Kane. Thank you to all assisting mutual aid departments and Eddystone Fire Co. (12) for covering the Bethel local while units were committed on scene at Foxfield. Pictures are provided courtesy of Lower Chichester Firefighter Jeff Hill.
