Passing of 55-year member Russell “Hank” Heacock

Russell A. "Hank" Heacock, age 69, of Boothwyn, PA passed away peacefully on July 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A resident of Boothwyn for the past 45 years, Hank previously resided in Bethel Twp., PA. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and retired in 2013 from Evraz, previously known as Phoenix Steel where he was employed for 46 years. He was a 55 year member of the Bethel Township Hose Co. #1 where he served as Chief Engineer.

Hank enjoyed his family, especially time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Delena Cox Heacock and a brother, Bob Heacock. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Mattie Heacock, a daughter and her husband, Mandy and John Brooks, a sister, Janet Davis and 2 grandchildren, John and Haley Brooks. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, 7-9PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA and again on Thursday morning, 9-10AM followed by funeral services at 10AM. Interment, Siloam United Methodist Church, Bethel Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hank's memory may be made to the Bethel Township Hose Co. #1, 3737 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA 19060.
