Engine Assists Concordville

Friday evening September 4th just after 2000hrs Bethel (66), Chester Heights (71), Rocky Run (46) along with the Media (23) Rapid Intervention Team were dispatched to assist Concordville (59) with a house fire on Union School Way in Concord Township.

Engine 66-1 with a crew of 5 made the response. Engine 66-1 arrived, pulling past the residence to leave room for responding ladder trucks with nothing showing and a hydrant located across the street. Engine 66-1’s crew was advised there was a smoke condition in the residence and pulled a 200 foot 1 ¾ hose line to the front door. Crews located an electrical issue in the basement. PECO secured the utilities, the residence was ventilated and Engine 66-1 was committed on scene for an hour.
