Saturday afternoon around 1245pm the company was dispatched to assist Concordville (59) with a large brush fire in the area of Spring Valley Road and Brinton Lake Road. Engine 66-1 and Engine 66-3 both made the response. Other responding mutual aid companies included Chester Heights (71), Longwood (CC 25), Ogden (55) and Aston Township (17).

Bethel crews assisted with extinguishment and Engine 66-1 supplied Ogden’s Brush Truck. Bethel crews were committed for approximately 90 minutes.

While wrapping up from Spring Valley Road the company was dispatched to the 3200 block of Foulk Road for a brush fire behind the Bethel Springs Elementary School. Engine 66-1, Engine 66-3, 66-8 and Brush 55 all made the response. Bethel units arrived on scene with a brush fire located in the woods behind Bethel Springs Elementary School and made access to the area via Spring Meadow Lane. Crews were committed on scene for 30 minutes before returning.
