2014 Service Above Self Award Recipients

This evening Firefighter James Pierce was presented The Rotary Club of Concordville-Chadds Ford’s 2014 Service Above Self award. The award was presented by Rotary Club President Dominic Cappelli during December’s Bethel Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

Firefighter Pierce was presented the 2014 Service Above Self award “For His Commitment and Untiring Efforts on Behalf of The Community.” Firefighter Pierce has logged more than 200 hours of training within the past year and is currently preparing to test to receive his certification as a Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B). Firefighter Pierce also works with our cadet and junior members acclimating these members to the fire service.

In addition to Firefighter Pierce, Bethel Township Police Detective Sergeant Ben Ash was also awarded for his dedicated work to our community. Congratulations to both Firefighter Pierce and Detective Ash for their service and dedication to our community.
