Tuesday evening March 25th just before 2100hrs the company along with Chester Heights (71), Rocky Run (46) and the Media (23) Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) were dispatched to assist Concordville (59) with a building fire at Baltimore Pike and Brinton Lake Road in Concord Township.

Engine 66-1 with a crew of 6 under the command of Assistant Chief Dan Brown (66-9A) arrived on scene with a 2 story commercial building well involved with exposure to another building. Engine 66-1 dropped 900 feet of 5 inch supply line into the scene, placing the deck gun and two 1 ¾ hose lines in service. Engine 46 picked up the hydrant from Brinton Lake Road and Baltimore Pike and supplied Engine 66-1. 20 members responded to the scene staffing all 4 apparatus (66-1, 66-3, Truck 66 and 66-8). Crews were in service for approximately 3 hours under the command of Concordville Chief Tom Nelling (59-9). Thank you to Talleyville Fire Co. (NCC 25) for covering the Bethel local while units were committed in Concord Township and for assisting restoring the apparatus. Pictures are provided courtesy of Fire Ground Photography.
