House Fire in Foxfield

Saturday March 22nd at 1300hrs the company along with Boothwyn (40), Ogden (55), Reliance (61), Claymont (NCC 13), Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) and the Green Ridge (63) Rapid Intervention Team were dispatched to the 3400 block of Turnberry Court in Bethel Township for a building fire reported to be a burning odor in the residence.

Truck 66 and Engine 66-3 staffed with 11 members both made the response. Engine 40 arrived on scene with nothing showing. Truck 66 arrived with the crew splitting between investigating the source and placing ground ladders. Squad 55 arrived and stood by at a second hydrant location. The burning odor source was located and the assignment was held to Boothwyn and Bethel units. Crews were committed on scene for approximately 30 minutes under the command of Captain Andrew Goole (66-12).
