Engine Company Assist to Upper Chichester Twp.

Tuesday April 10th just after midnight the company was dispatched as part of a second alarm assignment to assist Upper Chichester (Boothwyn, Ogden and Reliance) on a building fire in the 400 block of Dogwood Circle in Cherry Tree Knoll. Rescue 40 had arrived on location with a two story middle of the row townhome with heavy fire showing from the rear of the building.

Engine 66-1 with a crew of 6 under the command of Chief Mike Heacock and Engine 66-3 with a crew of 5 under the command of Captain Dan Kirkner both made the response. Bethel crews reported to the manpower pool and assisted with overhaul. Bethel units were committed on scene for approximately 90 minutes. Thank you to Boothwyn Fire Co. for use of the picture.
