Tuesday evening January 19th just before 2300hrs the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid response to assist Talleyville (NCC 25) with a house fire with entrapment located in the 2600 block of Abington Road in the Dartmouth Woods development.

Engine 25 and Ladder 13 arrived on scene with a heavily involved single family dwelling with reports of entrapment. Engine 66-1, Engine 66-3 and 66-8 with a total crew of 15 made the response. Crews were committed on scene for two hours. Unfortunately one occupant was unable to make it out of the residence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and community.
