Wednesday morning December 28th shortly after 0500hrs the company was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment along with Green Ridge (63), Longwood (CC 25), Edgmont (64), Brookhaven (52) and the Holmes (43) Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) to assist Concordville (59) on a working house fire on Twin Creeks Drive in Concord Township. Engine 71 and Engine 59-2 arrived with a 2 ½ single family dwelling with heavy fire on division two. Both Engine 66-1 and Engine 66-3 made the response. Engine 66-1 arrived and was assigned to side D of the building as exterior operations were in place. Bethel units were in service for almost three hours assisting with extinguishment, overhaul and ventilation. Units worked under the command of Concordville Chief Tom Nelling (59-9).
