Building Fire in Concord Township

Board of Director Matt Hills Jr., March 25

Tuesday evening March 25th just before 2100hrs the company along with Chester Heights (71), Rocky Run (46) and the Media (23) Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) were dispatched to assist Concordville (59) with a building fire at Baltimore Pike and Brinton Lake Road in Concord Township.

Engine 66-1 with a crew of 6 under the command of Assistant Chief Dan Brown (66-9A) arrived on scene with a 2 story commercial building well involved with exposure to another building. Engine 66-1 dropped 900 feet of 5 inch supply line into the scene, placing the deck gun and two 1 ¾ hose lines in service. Engine and Truck Assist Talleyville

Sunday March 23rd just after 1330hrs the company along with Claymont (NCC 13) and Brandywine Hundred (NCC 11) were dispatched to assist Talleyville (NCC 25) with a house fire on State Line Road located of off Route 202.

Engine 66-1 and Truck 66 staffed with 11 members made the response. Engine 66-1’s crew assisted with a chimney issue. Truck 66’s crew stood by in manpower staging. Bethel units were committed on scene for approximately 30 minutes ... (Full Story & Photos)

House Fire in Foxfield

Board of Director Matt Hills Jr., March 22

Saturday March 22nd at 1300hrs the company along with Boothwyn (40), Ogden (55), Reliance (61), Claymont (NCC 13), Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) and the Green Ridge (63) Rapid Intervention Team were dispatched to the 3400 block of Turnberry Court in Bethel Township for a building fire reported to be a burning odor in the residence.

Truck 66 and Engine 66-3 staffed with 11 members both made the response. Engine 40 arrived on scene with nothing showing. Truck 66 arrived with the crew splitting between investigating the source and placing ground ladders. Squad 55 arrived and stood by at a second hydrant location. Accident with Entrapment Foulk Road and Zebley Road

Tuesday morning February 25th around 0745hrs the company and Medic 59-7 (Concordville EMS) were dispatched to the intersection of Foulk Road and Zebley Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Chief Mike Heacock (66-9) arrived on scene confirming entrapment. Engine 66-3’s crew stabilized the vehicle, utilized the rescue tools to open a door for patient removal and assisted the EMS crew with packaging the patient. Accident with Entrapment on Foulk Road

Board of Director Matt Hills Jr., February 10

Monday morning February 10th the company along with ambulance 72 (Aston-Beechwood) and medic 100-A (Crozer EMS) were dispatched to the area of Foulk Road and Deer Meadow Lane for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Bethel Township Fire Marshal Brett Small (BC-1) arrived on scene with a single vehicle accident, one subject heavily entrapped and added Concordville’s (59) Rescue to the assignment.
