Rescue Covers Lower Chichester

Sunday morning June 28th at approximately 0445hrs the Rescue along with an engine from Sharon Hill (09) were dispatched to cover the Lower Chichester Fire Co. (39). Lower Chichester was assisting the Upper Chichester Fire Companies (Boothwyn, Ogden and Reliance) on a working house fire located on Beech Street. The Rescue with a crew of 4 under the command of Assistant Chief Brett Small (66-9B) made the response. Engine Assist to Claymont

Friday morning June 26th at approximately 0945hrs the company along with Lower Chichester (39), Talleyville (NCC 25), Brandywine Hundred (NCC11) and the Holloway Terrace (NCC 20) rapid intervention team were dispatched to assist the Claymont Fire Co. (NCC 13) on a commercial building fire at the Le Nails nail salon located in the Carpenter Plaza shopping center off of Carpenter Station Road in Claymont, DE. Claymont engine 13-5 arrived with heavy smoke showing and requested Green Ridge (63) be added to the assignment as an additional rapid intervention team. Passing of Past Chief Mangold

The officers and members of Bethel Township Hose Company No.1 are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Past Chief Peter A. Mangold. Chief Mangold was one of the original charter members to start the company in 1944. During his service with the company he held the positions of Chief, Assistant Chief also, Chief of Police for Bethel Township. Chief Mangold's experience, dedication and service to the community will be greatly missed. The viewing will be held Saturday June 13th at Pagano's Funeral Home located at 3711 Foulk Road in Bethel Township at 10 am. Engine Covers Aston Township

Thursday evening May 21st at approximately 2230hrs the engine along with an engine from Reliance (61), a ladder from Lansdowne (19) and a rescue from Lower Chichester (39) were dispatched to cover Aston Township from the Green Ridge Fire Company (63). Companies from Aston, Middletown, Chester Township and Brookhaven were assisting the Aston Township Police Department with a search for a missing person.
