Bethel Fire Co. Supports Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

The Bethel Township Hose Co. No.1 is supporting the United States Marine Corps Reserve annual Toys for Tots Program. The company is serving as a drop off location for new, unwrapped donated toys during November and December. The United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program will distribute the donated toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the local area communities. "Battle of The Boulevard" Softball Tournament

Saturday October 10th a team of members participated in the third annual “Battle of the Boulevard” softball tournament. The “Battle of the Boulevard” tournament was organized by the Milmont Park and Folsom fire companies. Tournament proceeds including food sales, raffle ticket sales and donations benefit the Nathan Speare Regional Burn Treatment Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland. Fire and EMS organizations participating in the event included Folsom, Milmont Park, Crozer, Bethel, Chester, Darby and Tinicum Township. Games began at 9am and continued throughout the day. October Crab Feast/Italian Night

Our hall caterer Renzi's Catering will be holding an all you can eat crab feast Sunday October 18th located on the firehouse grounds in our hall The Ballroom at Bethel 3737 Foulk Road Garnet Valley, PA 19060. 3 hour block seating times are 1pm to 4pm and 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

Reservations prices per seating time are $30 for adults and $15 for children 10 years of age and under. Reservations are strongly recommended with no guarantee of at the door ticket availability. Tickets purchased at the door are $35 for adults and $20 for children 10 years of age and under. Engine Assists Concordville

Friday evening September 4th just after 2000hrs Bethel (66), Chester Heights (71), Rocky Run (46) along with the Media (23) Rapid Intervention Team were dispatched to assist Concordville (59) with a house fire on Union School Way in Concord Township.

Engine 66-1 with a crew of 5 made the response. Engine 66-1 arrived, pulling past the residence to leave room for responding ladder trucks with nothing showing and a hydrant located across the street. Engine 66-1’s crew was advised there was a smoke condition in the residence and pulled a 200 foot 1 ¾ hose line to the front door. Crews located an electrical issue in the basement. Memorial Day 2015

Monday May 25th the company participated in the annual Concord and Bethel Township Memorial Day Parades. The Concord parade began at 0930hrs at the Springwater Plaza located off of Route 202 and ended at the Elam Methodist Church located on Smithbridge Road. The Bethel Township Parade began at 1130hrs at the Briggs Auction on Naamans Creek Road and ended at the Siloam Methodist Church on Foulk Road. Memorial Day services followed both parades. Participants included the Brandywine American Legion Post 811, Bethel Township Police Department, Bethel Township Preservation Society, Bethel Fire Co., Concordville Fire Co., Garnet Valley High School Band, Bethel Township Board of Supervisors and ...
