Engine Assists Concordville (59)
BFC, June 28
Saturday morning June 28th after 0100, the company was dispatched to assist Concordville Fire & Protective Association (59) on a residential structure fire. 59 units arrived and reported fire showing. Engine 66 made the response and arrived as the third due engine, securing a secondary water supply and stretching an attack line to the C side. A Special Send-Off for a Special Student
BFC, June 18
Last week, the Bethel Township Hose Company No. 1 had the absolute honor of helping a young student named Teddy wrap up his school year in the most unforgettable way ... with a ride to school in a firetruck.
With lights flashing and hearts full, Driver Ben Robinson, Chief Mike Heacock, and Junior Firefighter Travis Layne proudly escorted Teddy on this joyful journey; a small act that made a big memory for a very deserving child.
At Bethel Twp Hose Co. No. 1, it’s not just about responding to emergencies; it’s about showing up for our community in every way we can.

2025 Carnival
BFC, May 06
The Bethel Fire Company will be holding our annual carnival beginning Tuesday night May 20th through Saturday night May 24th. Carnival hours will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening at 3220 Foulk Road (corner of Foulk Road & Bethel Road), Garnet Valley, PA 19060. Come enjoy rides, food, and games. Drafting & Tanker Operations Drill
BFC, March 29
Saturday morning, March 29th, the department along with Concordville (59) & Chester Heights (71) participated in a drafting and tanker operations drill. Drafting operations are primarily utilized in non-hydrant areas and involve drawing water from a portable tank, creek or pond. Tanker operations involve a tanker dumping its water into a portable tank on the scene of an incident and then proceeding to a site to refill the tanker and then shuttle water back to the scene.
