All You Can Eat Snow Crab Legs and Fish & Chips Feast-Saturday January 29th

Our hall caterer Renzi’s Catering will be holding a all you can eat crab feast Saturday October 15th in our hall The Ballroom at Bethel 3737 Foulk Road Garnet Valley, PA 19060. There will be two crab seatings one from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and the second from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Reservations are strongly recommended. The feast includes shrimp & scallops, penne pasta in blush sauce, tossed salad, desserts, BYOB, coffee and soft drink. Pricing is $35 per adult with reservation and $40 at the door. Children under 12 are $20.00 per person with reservation and $25 at the door.

Building Fire in Concord Township

Building Fire in Concord Township

Christmas Day Sunday December 25th at approximately 1330hrs the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Concordville Fire Co. (59) with a building fire on Marlborough Lane in Concord Township. Engine 66-1 and Engine 66-3 with 12 members made the response. Engine 66-1 arrived via Merion Drive and dropped a secondary 5 inch supply line from the hydrant into the scene. Engine 66-3 pumped from the hydrant into the scene. Bethel crews were on scene for approximately 2 ½ hours assisting with various fireground tasks before returning, cleaning and restoring the apparatus. Bethel Fire Co. Supports Marine Toys for Tots Foundation

The Bethel Township Hose Co. No.1 is once again supporting the United States Marine Corps Reserve annual Toys for Tots Program. The company is serving as a drop off location for new, unwrapped donated toys during November and December. The United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program will distribute the donated toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the local area communities. You may stop by the firehouse before December 13th and drop off new, unwrapped toys or schedule a drop off time by contacting us at (Full Story & Photos)

Santa Claus to Visit Bethel Township

With the holiday season upon us, Santa Claus will be making a couple stops in Bethel Township prior to Christmas Day. The Bethel Township Parks and Recreation board have arranged for Santa to be at the Bethel Springs Elementary School Saturday December 3rd from 11am until 1pm. Santa will greet township residents at the school which is located at 3280 Foulk Road in Bethel Township. Fire company members will escort Santa around the township Sunday evening December 11th, Monday evening December 12th, Tuesday evening December 13th and Wednesday evening December 14th from 6pm until approximately 8:00pm each evening. Passing of 70 Year Life Member Wilfred Davis

Wilfred Austin “Utt” Davis, 90, a lifelong resident of Bethel Township went to sing at the Pearly Gates on October 31, 2016.

He will be remembered for his smile, quick wit, sense of humor, and passion for service. “Utt” worked at Sun Oil Company for 35 years, was a member of Siloam United Methodist Church for 76 years, and a member of the Bethel Township Hose Company No. 1 for 70 years. A proud veteran of the Army-Air Force, “Utt” was also a member of the American Legion Post 811 for 60 years.

Nicknamed “Golden Arm” while playing in the Siloam Church League, “Utt” loved baseball and was an avid player, fan, and coach. He coached the Tigers in the Sun Oil Little League for five years. ... (Full Story & Photos)
